#1 · Jun 20, 2021 I'm having an issue with my car cutting out and engine management light coming on. This seems to happen when travelli isng downhill when foot is taken off accelerator which is very bizarre. Fault code P0219 engine overspeed condition comes up on my code reader. Has anybody got any idea why this is happening? Freeze frame data:-

6th gear, 65-70MPH, approx. 1200-1500 RPM. Maintain that for 10 min or so and it may drop in to limp. If I pulse the accelerator and make sure that vane keeps moving, it doesn't go in to limp. Ive got good vacuum on the actuator, good idle vacuum on the solenoid. As in one of my other threads I've been having performance issues with my 2.0 tdci 2007 auto.
