Super slim is just as reliable as any slim past 25XX in terms of ylod. The PSP-2000, marketed in PAL countries as the "PSP Slim", is the first redesign of the PlayStation Portable. The PSP-2000 system is slimmer and lighter than the original PSP, reduced from 0.91 to 0.73 inches (23 to 18.6 mm) and from 9.87 to 6.66 ounces (280 to 189 g).
The styling of the Sony PS3 Slim is a 100 per cent improvement on the original PS3. The slim Playstation 3 features a much thinner chassis, and also gets a smarter matt black finish.

I got a SuperSlim and sold my original Slim on the local auction site. Whole upgrade cost about $50NZ. I swapped HDD's though, since I had a 7200RPM 750GB drive in the original Slim. I'm very happy with it. It's quieter than the Slim and the Blu-Ray drive seems quicker, but yeah, I haven't done side-by-side tests or anything.
During every past PlayStation generation, Sony would subsequently release a “slim” version of the original console, packing the same tech in a much more compact and power-efficient frame. PlayStation 3 even had two such revisions, the PS3 Slim and the PS3 Super Slim. A different fate awaited the PlayStation 4.
