On my Golf oil cap it’s written “Castrol” (2 months old car). Since it’s the same spec. 504 00 / 507 00 you can use Shell oil. It’s compatible with other oils with the same spec. as Castrol Edge FST 5w-30 504 00 / 507 00. As you write it’s good to let the engine stand for a couple of minutes, (the car of cause on horizontal ground ).

Look on the ECS website at their billet housings and download the instructions they’re quite good but basically yes you need to transfer the central filter support over to the new housing. It can be done without leaking oil just remove the filler cap then the oil will drop into the sump. YGIugVn.
